Join us for the virtual Swiss Alps Race 2023
Course Info Vertical

The vertical challenge is a new course in the 2022 race and a total elevation gain of 1'860m (6,100 feet). You like uphills then this is the race you want to experience. Starting in Fiesch it will go only one way and that's up. Once crossing the finish line at the Egghorn you'll be rewarded with a 280 degree view of the Swiss Alps including the Matterhorn and the Aletsch Glacier, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Collect your hard earned medal, sit down at the Horli Hitta for a refreshment, and soak in the views as long as you would like. Once you're ready you can take the gondola back to the valley for free. From the gondola to the race headquarter it's only a 1KM walk and we will show you the way.

See the race weekend schedule page for the check-in and race starting times. The overall cutoff-time is 4 hours.
