Course Info 50KM

Despite being the second shortest distance in the Swiss Alps 100, the 50K course should not be underestimated. With a total elevation gain of 10,530 feet you will certainly be tested along the way. What will keep you going are the incredible views, such as running along the Aletsch Glacier, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and crossing the 160 meter Aspi-Titter Suspension Bridge and the 280 meter (918 foot) Mühlebach-Fürgangen Suspension Bridge .

Finishers will receive a beautiful 7cm medal. We will also be awarding female/male age group prizes (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). See the race weekend schedule page for check-in and race start times. The total cut-off time is 15 hours and there are 6 fully stocked aid stations.
