The CHF 40.- is a reservation fee. At check-in, in addition to the reservation fee, the participation fee of CHF 50.- has to be paid. The race management can cancel the event up to 3 days before the start for meteorological reasons. The reservation fee of CHF 40.- will not be refunded.What does your registration include?
All runners will receive a race t-shirt when they check in. We track participants by a GPS tracking device runners will receive when they check-in and family/friends can track their runners in real-time using the tracking app. During the race we provide well stocked aid stations. All Vertical, 50km, and 100km finishers get a medal and all 100 mile finisher get a sub-24 antic silber or sub-48 antic brass buckle.What about age group awards?
We have age group awards (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) for the 50km, 100km, and 160km and each overall male/female age group winner will receive a beautiful wooden age group award.Will my name be on my running bib?
We will print your name on your bib but you will have to register before August 1st.How are you tracking the runners?
Each runner will receive a GPS tracker which has to be carried at all times. That way we always know the exact location of each runner at any time. Family and friends will be able to track their runners with a special app. Check out the tracking page for more info.What is the course upgrade/downgrade policy?
If you are already registered and you want to either upgrade or downgrade your registration then you can do that until July 15th. If you downgrade your registration, for example from the 160km to the 100km, we will not be able to refund you the difference of the entry fee. If you upgrade your registration, like from the 50km to the 100km, then we will charge you the price difference. Runner will not be able to change their race distance after July 15th - no exceptions!What is the refund policy?
We do not give any refunds. If a runner cannot participate due to an injury we will postpone the entry to the following year if a medical certificate is provided.What is the qualification to run the Swiss Alps 100?
We will not ask for a medical certificate from our runners if they want to run the Swiss Alps 100.What about insurance?
Evacuation by helicopter are not free in Switzerland and in 2019 we had to resque one runner which costs him $7000. The race organization will make the choice of evacuation of an injured runner. For that reason we highly recommend that each race participant should have personal accident insurance sufficient to cover the cost of search and rescue Switzerland. The insurance policy must be valid at least for the duration of the race.Have more questions?
